Summer and winter in Kněžice
In summer you can set off on foot or by bike straight from the door – to the Žalý lookout tower with views of the Giant Mountains ridges, to Benecko or to Špindlerův Mlýn. There is a riding stable right next door.
In winter the Kněžický vrch ski lift is just 300 m away, the Herlíkovice-Bubákov ski area 2 km and Špindlerův Mlýn 14 km.
Day trip tip: in Vrchlabí, visit the 16th-century Renaissance château, the Krkonoše Museum in the former Augustinian monastery or, in summer, the natural swimming pond. The château in Horní Branná is close by too.
